Admin Notes: Brought up on EFnet around february 1997, the server replaced the previous *.il servers that existed on EFnet (linked from the Israeli Academic network). The server has been under the same administration since day 1. The servers aim is first and foremost to provide a clean and trouble free service to the *.il IRC community, and as the network/computing resources grew, to provide the same quality of service to any client in the world. The server oper team was carefully chosen to include a balanced mixture of veterans and young blood, from all available time zones for the best coverage.
